What is the difference between Magic Select and Magic Annotate?
With Magic Select, you click an object and get its outline. Magic Annotate finds the labels you choose in an image or across a dataset. You can review and refine the results from both tools.
Can I create or correct annotations manually?
Yes. You can draw and edit bounding boxes and polygons, including annotations generated by AI. Zoom into the image to check the details before approving it.
How can I export my dataset?
Export to COCO from the current dataset or any saved version. Versions and exports use no credits, even at zero balance, as long as you have storage space. Their retained archives count toward storage.
How many dataset versions can I keep?
Up to 10 versions per dataset on Free, Pro, and Team. Each version keeps your data exactly as it was. Delete an unused one to make room; versions used to train a model are kept while that model exists.
Do AI tools use credits?
Magic Select and Magic Annotate use credits. Manual annotation and exports use no credits. The platform shows the cost or estimate before you start. You can buy top-ups on Free, Pro, and Team; purchased credits never expire. The Pricing page explains allowances and costs.
Can I train a model with my annotated images?
Object detection training is available in private beta and requires separate approval for your organization, regardless of your plan. Segmentation and classification training are coming soon.
